I have three exams on the same day.

English at 8, Physics at 12, and GRADE 10 PIANO FFFF at 3.

Did my course options sheets for next year a few weeks ago. I still have time to change it if I want to. I guess the only thing that keeps me from dropping IB is that all my friends are in it, but since I want to attend local universities I don't see the benefit of being in an international program, enrichment or not. As far as I know, only about 2 people are dropping out of IB completely next year, and there might be a couple going for certificate instead of the whole diploma.

If I take IB, that means I get the 6 groups of two Bio, two Chem, Standard and Higher Level Math, French, English, and History. I really want to take art but that's not going to fit anywhere near Chem, which is my only elective. If I didn't take IB, I would probably drop History and French, keep everything else and add Art or something fun and different like welding.

The thing is, if I take certificate IB instead I only get to choose 3 IB courses, and I'm pretty much torn between all the Bios, Chems and Maths, and if I take the diploma I'll be stuck with the rest of the groups. Not to mention spending 300 dollars a course for each IB group and 500 for Higher Level; that's just throwing money out the window.

I wonder what path I would take if I didn't have outside influence. It's so hard to make a judgment call when there's pressure from all sides.
